Jim Roach is a multi-instrumentalist from California who has spent years in the professional world of the pop and rock music industry. He started The Soundtrack Arcade in the midst of his music career after seeing a real need for better and more relevant music than what was being offered online…

“The whole time that I was writing these rock songs, I would constantly find myself writing these really mellow pieces that were easy to listen to, but were of no use at the time given the musical setting I was in! When I realized that there were people out there who needed that kind of thing for their business, I came up with the concept for The Soundtrack Arcade. When I went online to see what was available to people I was shocked. Ninety-five percent of it wasn’t any good or wasn’t relevant to what was happening in music. So I set out to create a small, people friendly company with a high end product for people in media that need something totally professional that sounded great; all the while keeping it fairly priced. I am very excited about what we’ve done!”

Jim’s industry credits include being the music director, touring drummer, and now producer for ‘Hoku’ of Interscope/Geffen Records. "I’ve toured with him across the country--at stadiums and arenas and not only is he quite possibly THE most singly gifted and versatile guitar player and drummer I have ever met, but his knowledge and mastery of virtually every other major instrument makes him completely invaluable when it comes to arranging and producing.”

As a guitar player Jim has co-written and recorded over 50 songs with the band The Rosewood Fall on Linkin Park’s Machine Shop/Warner Bros Records.

Jim currently spends his time in North Hollywood making music for the Soundtrack Arcade and producing artists. Feel free to him with any questions!
